4310 with 48 backhoe, would not lift into position to allow the l pins to be inserted, you needed to use the stabilizers to lift it the extra 1/4 in to allow the pins to be inserted.

Dealer fix-adjust the two silver brackets on the 48 backhoe to grap the 3 point hitch closer together thereby getting the extra 1/4 lift needed. ....

4310 power beyond kit for 48 backhoe had hoses popping off when unit was used with backhoe

Dealer fix-turned out to be an incorrectly insidalled power beyond kit and improper hose routing making it difficult to even get the hoses on and off due to the space issue under the seat. Dealer reworked the hose routing which corrected the problem. ....

JD Fan: What's your point? Any reason for the multiple posts to the thread that you started, or could that have been confined to one single post? Its too bad that you are unhappy with your tractor, but I'm you aren't trying to gang up on JD. Sounds like you should be thinking about changing your user name. I'm surprised that Billy fell for it. ....

Mr not impressed (Mr. JD dealer), if you want to state an opinion on a subject then register and give your name. I believe the work here is to provide a list of problems and fixes. I am not sure the JDfan is irrate at his dealer he is just listing the individual problems the corrections. If you owned a 3x10 then the heads up list of problems maybe useful.
Of course if you are Mr. Dealer it might not be advantagous for the buyers to have a list of waranty repairs before the tractor leaves the lot.
Incidentally, I looked at a similar list on the GM Duramax the other day on a GM diesel site.

Over-all very happy.

My 4310 has a bouncing fuel gauge while moving but I thought that was normal? Normal or not?

My gauge cover clouds at times. It clears later. I have seen a post that someone had it replaced. Same part or an upgraded one?

I got the tilt wheel fix as well. Still seems hard to move at times.

Cruise shut off at times. They adjusted a brake switch that seemed sensitive.

Talked to Dealer about the height adjustment for the MMM and the feeler gauge type stop on the knob. JD said they were working on something better. That was last summer but have not heard back as yet.

Guys,

This is my second 4310 in the last year, I would not have bought a second unit if I did not feel deere was the best. I feel any new product may have some bugs and a link that lists any issues and the resolution may save us all a lot of needless headaches. For example the ehydro issue, where the tractor is stopped and then will not move forward or backward without shutting the unit down and restarting. All the posts seem to indicate the fix is the ehydro control module. Many owners and dealers could save themself some time by learning from our experience.

I did consider the Kubota but feel the electronics on the deere are functional and you get more work out of your machine with a smaller hp unit.

please continue to prost problems and resolutions it will help all of us.

Only problem so far on 4310 was on delivery where the flashing lights worked intermittently. Fix was to replace
the flashing unit (located under the dash console on the left side).

We are now into -14 C weather (cold for us) so we'll see how it starts; so far it has had no problem starting in cool weather (-8 C to 0 C) ....
